Treatment may include a temporary filling, root canal therapy, or extraction, depending on the underlying problem.

A broken or chipped tooth is painful and cosmetically concerning. If the tooth is fractured, save any pieces you find and rinse the area with warm water. Avoid chewing on the side of your mouth where the damage occurred. Dr. Kamboj can assess whether the tooth needs a crown, bonding, or extraction. If the break is severe, we may recommend a dental implant for long-term restoration and a confident smile.

A knocked-out tooth is a dental emergency requiring immediate treatment to increase the chances of saving the tooth. If the tooth is completely knocked out, handle it by the crown (not the root), rinse it gently with water, and place it in milk or saliva to keep it moist. Get to our office as quickly as possible.
